Gypsy Spirit Mission's Posting Forum Submission Guidelines

1. Be creative. Play with us. It's easy to stay in touch these days, thanks to the internet. Do it. It's up to us to appropriate the technology.

2. Don't worry about schedules . you contribute when you want; but you are encouraged to make a commitment to a minimum contribution - say once a week - of poetry, prose, lyrics, essays, art, photography, or just thoughts or ideas. Anything goes, but:

3. No cheating by going back and digging up old stuff that your online audience may not have seen. If you don't have anything ready by your own self-imposed deadline, this is when you will be most likely to create something surprising and original. This is a community of support for artistic expression and growth.

4. Forward this link: http://www.GypsySpiritMission.com/html/forum.htm at your own discretion to anyone who you feel is a candidate for making positive contributions to our community. This website is open to the public. A simple registration process allows anyone the opportunity to post submissions or follow-ups to other artists' submissions.

5. Regarding submission of art, photography, music, etc.: the current configuration of the posting board only allows links to existing pages containing your work. We encourage you to provide this type of link whenever possible. Written words are the heart of the posting board, but with your help other creative forms will provide its soul. Also see the Featured Artist page to view or become a featured artist. In addition, visit the Links page to view some of our favorite member-related sites.

6. Regarding follow-ups to submissions of other members: comments and thoughtful criticism are strongly encouraged. The GSM is intended to be a forum for genuine community dialogue, based on respect and creative support. Please, however, refrain from making comments of a personal nature that might compromise any member's right to privacy. In other words, always operate with respect and common sense. Failure to do so may lead to your e-banishment from the community.

7. By joining, you agree to abide by these guidelines, and you grant permission for the site's administrators to send you occasional e-mails regarding GSM activities and updates. Your personal information will always remain confidential and will never be sold to anyone. Note, however, that by posting to our posting board, you make your work available to all viewers of our website, members and non-members alike. Should you change your mind about your registration status, simply send the administrator an email and your membership status will be removed.

8. Original, new material and ideas only. Be as heavy or as light as you desire, but don't be too rigid. Be brave. This forum is dedicated to freedom of expression, and no one can even see you. Experiment. Operate at your own pace, by your own schedule. Don't cheat. You will only be cheating yourself.

9. Have fun.

10. GypsySpiritMission.com. PASS IT ON!
